After a successful collaboration with one of the lead architects of SANAA on the BBC Ice Cream project MG and Co was selected as Construction Managers in the design/ build phases of this flagship store for Derek Lam. The simplicity of the design, the incorporation of 12' high custom curved acrylic walls through out and the attention to detail required by the award winning architects added a level of complexity that made this project both challenging and exciting to work on. After the successful completion of the store we were then contracted to do a full build out of the Derek Lam Headquarters designed by SO-IL Architects incorporating 2 floors covering 10,500 sf. The two partners of SO-IL, having both worked for SANAA in the past also maintained the same high level of attention to detail and design through out the project.
